Contact MediaBid

One inbox, read by a person. If your handle is on the board and you want it off, the form further down does it directly — you do not have to write to anyone first.

Where to write

The email address is still being set up, so there is nothing to print here yet. Use the form below in the meantime — it goes to the same person, and a takedown sent through it is acted on exactly the same way.

Taking a handle off the board
Use the form below. It is the fastest route, and it records the request the moment you send it.
Payments and refunds
Read the refund terms first — bids are final, and being outbid is not a refund event. A payment that failed, charged twice or landed on the wrong handle is a different matter, and we put those right. Send the receipt.
Everything else
Press, a bug, a wrong follower count, a lot that looks off, or a question the rules do not answer. All of it goes to the contact address published on this page once it is set.

Take a handle off the board

This form is for anyone who does not want a handle listed here. It does not matter whether you put it on the board, whether somebody else paid to list it, or whether you have ever heard of MediaBid before today. Anyone can list any handle, including one they do not own, which is exactly why this route exists.

We take a listing down when the account holder asks us to. We do not ask for identity documents, a verification post or proof of ownership. A plausible request is enough, and the cost of believing someone is a lot coming off a board — which is a far smaller problem than leaving up a listing the person behind it does not want.

What happens next: a person reads the request and clears the lot by hand, usually the same day. A withdrawn lot leaves both boards, the activity feed, Trending and the sitemap. Its lot page and its outbound link stop resolving, and the handle cannot be listed again by anyone.

Bids are final, so a withdrawal does not refund whoever paid to list the handle. That is the risk of bidding on an account you do not run, and the rules say so before anyone pays.

MediaBid is not affiliated with X or Instagram, so reporting a lot to them does not reach us. Send it here and we act on it.

Board

Paste the link to the lot or to the profile, or type the handle on its own.

One line is plenty, and a request with no reason at all is honoured the same way.

So we can tell you when the lot is down. It is never published on the board.

The fine print

Messages reach the operator of MediaBid and are read by a person, not a queue. Some of those details are still being settled and are not named on the site yet. It changes nothing about how a takedown is handled.

What we do with what you send is covered in the privacy policy. An email address given here is used to answer you and nothing else — it is never put on the board.

MediaBid is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to X Corp. or to Instagram and Meta Platforms, Inc. Names, photos, bios and follower counts on the board come from public profiles.
